    Above Homer, AK
Our destination after Coopers Landing was Homer, AK. We really enjoyed our stay on the beach and checking out the Homer area and got some great shots of the bald eagles who hang out at the beach during low tide.

    Fly-fishing on the Kenai River
After leaving Trapper Creek we headed south and spent two nights in Wasilla to stock up on supplies and then headed to Anchorage for two nights to get our generator repaired, check out the area and run some errands. From Anchorage we headed south to the Kenai Peninsula and spent a couple of nights at Coopers Landing and toured the area. We were hoping to spot some bears, but didn’t see any.

    Peters Hills (foothills to Denali)

From Healy we headed south to Trapper Creek for a few days to catch up on laundry and check out Petersville Road, which is considered the southern gateway to Denali. The day was too cloudy to see Mt Mckinley aka Denali, but it was a nice drive.
