    Disney's Animal Kingdom

We returned to RiverBend for three nights and then moved onward to Ft Wilderness at Disney World for six nights. While at Ft Wilderness we went to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. Pictures we took on Kilimanjaro Safaris ride can be viewed here.
We had a premium spot and there are trees in Ft Wilderness, but both our satellite dishes managed to lock onto their satellites, so we were happy. :)

After six nights we moved down the road to Lake Magic RV Resort for a week. The weather turned cool so we just relaxed except for one day when we went to SeaWorld in Orlando. Joe had never been and it had been 35 years since I was last there. The park was very crowded and during lunch we talked to a teacher who informed us it was Florida’s spring break. We enjoyed SeaWorld, except for the crowd and we saw lots of the critters we see up close and personal and without glass separating us when we’re diving. Our SeaWorld pictures can be viewed here.

    Florida Everglades

Our trip down to the Keys from RiverBend took over six hours so we decided to split the return trip back to RiverBend Motorcoach Resort into two days. Joe also wanted to ride an airboat, so we decided to spent the night at Everglades Holiday Park, which has airboat tours and is also a RV campground. Plus if you’re spending the night at the campground, the airboat tickets are half price. Good thing, because the campground amenities suck, except for the view, if you’re at the back of the park. The pictures we took while on the airboat tour and of the resident gator are here. We also enjoyed catching up with Gary and Robin, who now live in the area.
